Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Assure Protect Solar Protection LLC (“Assure Protect”, “we”) handles personal data in the Assure Protect operations console, available on the web and as a mobile app for iPhone and Android (together, the “App”). The App is built and operated for us by TecnoAI Systems LLC, which publishes the mobile app in the App Store and Google Play and acts as our service provider.

The App is a business tool. It is used by our staff (administrators and sales representatives) to sign up customers, prepare service agreements and collect electronic signatures. It is not directed at children and is not offered to the general public.

1. Data we collect

About staff who use the App:

• Name, work email address, role and an optional profile photo.
• A password, stored only as a one-way hash. When a password is chosen, the first five characters of its SHA-1 hash are checked against the Have I Been Pwned breach database; the password itself never leaves our servers.
• Security records: sign-in attempts, the IP address they came from and the time, used to detect and block account attacks.
• On the mobile app, if you allow notifications, a push-notification token for your device.

About our customers, entered by staff or by the customer:

• Name, email address, phone number and service address, and a co-owner's name where applicable.
• Details of the solar installation being protected (system size, panel count, installation date, utility company) and the services and plans chosen.
• The signed agreement: the signer's name, handwritten signature and initials, the date and time, the IP address and the signing method, kept as evidence of the signature.

The App does not use advertising, does not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and does not sell or share personal data for advertising.

2. How we use it

• To provide the App: create and manage customer records, prepare agreements and collect signatures.
• To send the emails and notifications the workflow needs (signing links, signed copies, account and balance alerts).
• To keep accounts secure, investigate misuse and meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.

3. Who processes it for us

We use these service providers, each only to run the part of the App named:

• TecnoAI Systems LLC — builds, hosts and maintains the App.
• Vercel — application hosting.
• Our database provider — encrypted storage of the App's data.
• Resend — delivery of the App's emails.
• Google Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple Push Notification service — delivery of push notifications on the mobile app.
• Stripe — card payments made on the web console. Card details are entered on Stripe's own pages and never reach the App.

We may also disclose data when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

4. How long we keep it

Customer records and signed agreements are kept for as long as the service relationship lasts and afterwards for the period the law requires us to keep contracts. Staff accounts are kept until the account is deleted; security records are kept for a limited period and then deleted automatically.

5. Your choices and rights

• You can change your password, your photo and sign out of other devices at any time under Account.
• You can turn push notifications off in your phone's settings.
• Staff can delete their own account from inside the App (Account → Delete my account). See Delete your account for how it works and what is kept.
• Customers and anyone else may ask to access, correct or delete their data by writing to support@assureprotect.com. Depending on where you live (for example California), you may have additional rights, which we will honour as the law requires.

6. Security

Data travels encrypted (HTTPS), sessions use secure cookies, passwords are hashed, and every staff member only sees the customers assigned to them unless they are an administrator.
